I think you are painting Asia with an awfully broad brush there. Not a terribly accurate one either.
According to
this website, Japan (which produced this video game) is #54 in the world for its rate of rape, with 0.017737 per 1,000 people. The United States is #9 with 0.301318 per 1,000 people. That's 17 times more rape case per capita in the USA.
