Never before has a year seemed so attractive and inevitably suitable for me. 2009, from what I can tell, you are going to be my best! Thank you for showing up on time, though I am mentally late.

I look forward to seeing you in the days to come. Let's be friends, and I am glad you have been replaced as your predecessor was a big, trite, asshole that unfortunately was quite evil. Congratulations in your new position.
