Hmm.. okay. In that case, I'd recommend that you download IrfranView. It's actually an image viewer, not an image editor. But it's a small program and it will let you convert any picture to a gif or jpeg using the same instructions I gave above. Just open the picture with IrfranView, use the 'save as' feature and change the 'save as type' field.
