When i was a kid there were quite a number of car crashes right in front of our house. It was just a bit of a danger spot I guess.
We regularly had accident vicitims in our kitchen. I don't think it's something my parents ever thought twice about, and I suppose thanks to their exmple I'd do the same thing.
I wouldn't feel too bad about it fresh, but I think it's good to know that you might need to work on your decision making processes in the future. I don't think it's got much to do with christmas though. I think it's got to do with putting yourself in their shoes and what you'd be grateful for if the same thing happened to you. At least you put in the call to 911 though. I think that was a good decision.
