Our Skeeter did the same thing. We rescued him from a mom who had one eye and had a habit of eating her young because she couldn't provide. We saved two, Skeeter, and Smokey. Wonderful kittens and cats. We have fond memories of them. Nice you were able to enjoy Rascal.
