I generally don't like most IPA's and steer away from them. They tend to have a significant aftertaste. I love the stouts but note that a Guinness is quite different from a Beamish and a Murphy's. Belhaven makes a good one as well.

I like the creaminess of a Boddington's, which is a pub draught ale.

Treasunk, I would recommend you try a Harp or Bass. I am a huge fan of Ales.

I usually buy Newcastle which is a brown ale.
