That reminds me of a story
It begins with a young boy walking down the middle of an empty road on a hot July day. He has a Jack Russell puppy on a leash, and no shoes on. He's maybe 11 years old. As he comes over a gentle rise in the road, he sees before him a cow lying in the road. It seems that the cow has been hit by a car, and there are skid marks leading off into the cornfield on the right. As he approaches, the cow bellows in pain. The puppy barks....
