Yes, I had 4.0 through 5.5, but because I really wasn't willing to spend the time, or had the need, to become proficient with all the bells and whistles, I found it slow and cumbersome.
When I bought a piece of hardware that had Elements on the software disc, for free, I tried it and found it would do way more than I needed/wanted. Sizing, color/contrast adjusting, arrows, talk bubbles, special effects, etc, are fairly easy to do, and the program is much smaller, so it takes less memory and loads faster.
It works for me, but remember, I'm no photo manipulating expert.
