I just got a 16GB nano for my birthday...it retails for $199. I went back and forth for a while between a nano ($199) and the iPod classic ($249 for 120GB, which is the only one they have now). I have over 200 gigs of music now, and when I do listen to my iPod on an extended basis, I might shuffle through a thousand songs tops. I don't want an integrated iPod and music player, and I don't like the touch screen on the iPhone. And the nano just looks sharp. So I went with a green nano.

Very satisfied with it so far...easy to use, love the physical shuffle and the cover flow. Can't believe how freakin' small it is...my auxiliary cable for the car is wider than the nano itself. I personally would be concerned about something so small for a 12-year old, but if she's responsible, then I guess it'd be cool.

Earlier tonight, I was showing April an example of how far we have come technologically in the past 10 years. In one hand, I had the internal HD from my first desktop computer--2 gigs. In the other hand, my nano, about 1/8th the size of that HD--16 gigs.
