I have to say, I think it was in poor form for the Australian representative to say such a thing. That being said, I'm sure the population of England and GB at large is happy to see themselves in front of us in the medal tally (for the first time in ages I might add
). Of course, everyone must realize what an achievement it is for a country with a population as small as ours to do so well in these competitions. It's a shame our mens swimmers didn't put in a better showing this time round. Lucky the girls did well.
We should get a gold in BMX today though. lol That's one for the record books I guess.
