Yes. But that entirely depends on what you call a monkey and what you mean by the endangered list. There a different list depending which organization you are talking to. And when you are talking about monkeys, do you mean all primates or just primates with monkey in one of thier common names? Does this include Langurs, Macaques, Guenons, Marmoset? I am sure one of the dwellars could tell us which is a real monkey? And what do you mean by endangered? Do you mean Critically endangered, Endangered, or just Vulnurable?

But in answer to your to your question the number of species of primates that are listed as endangered or worse, according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources's Red List, that have monkey in their common name is 42.
