It's great to hear stories of good fortune, especially when it's someone you 'know', congrats!

As for more exercise, you really should look into a good treadmill, elliptical or stationary bike. No excuses when it's within 50 feet of you at all times. Not only can you do it whenever you have a chance, it's a great opportunity for you daughter to learn that taking care of her body is important. If you shoot for 10 minutes a day, you'd be surprised how fast you work up to 30. It's also a great place to work out frustrations when the shit eventually hits the fan
