Depends on what we're talking about here... For scotch, I don't usually spend more than what it would cost to buy a bottle of Dewar's. Although on special occasions I'll spring for a bottle of Laphroiag. If not scotch, then just whatever beer I'm in the mood for. I wish they had John Smith's in the states
