Don't pretend that intellectual apathy is only a symptom of the left. The truth is that our current system is so complex that Congress literally doesn't know what's in the laws it passes. I know of two bills that had to be recalled because provisions were inserted that were overlooked.

You might consider it beneficial to convert to Amish, but the world will not convert with you. You will still be breathing, drinking, and eating contaminated air, water, and food. Pollution doesn't respect borders.
