It's a nice idea and a lovely letter, but I agree about the repetition

It has been a genuine pleasure working for DPC & Siemens
Working for DPC & Siemens has been a wonderful experience

It has been my great pleasure

I will miss my associations here.
I will miss my friends here at Siemens,

new and exciting challenges in my career
it is time for a new challenge and experience.

etc. almost everything is said twice.

and this bit is a little OTT for me:

It has been my great pleasure to serve you and I thank you all for the opportunity to do so.

it almost screams "You will take me back if I don't like it in the big wide world, won't you?" To me, anyway.
