It's not mean at all, and I think the quality of the gift will depend on who pulled his name out of the hat. Aden got a girl who he doesn't like too much because she gets him in trouble all the time (hope she doesn't end up at the same high school), so I have to get the gift for her. I'm sure most other mothers will have to suffer the same fate though.
