Such an interesting term, "faggot". I've heard the word used for cigarettes and when my farther was in British boarding school in the 1930's he had an underclassman called a faggot who had to warm his toilet seat each morning. He also had to heat muffins in the fireplace for the upperclassman and if they burned he was soundly beaten.

And to think the British once ruled more territory then the Roman empire.
