Kilts are dangerous in the wrong hands. This fad has started to spread into non-Scottish weddings, much to my horror when I was a freelance photographer. Please, don't do the kilt thing for you and your groomsmen, because
it all goes to hell when the flash goes off and no one notices until it's too late. (NSFW -- this one almost accidentally went to print!) This groom's dangler, along with his all his groomsmens', ended up unexpectedly gracing and ruining more than a dozen of the photographs I shot in which he posed with his grandmother, new mother-in-law, the bride, etc. The guys knelt down for every shot with kids and groups, so unexpected nutsacks made it into hundreds of pictures that night. I can't imagine the surprises the family and guests had when they offloaded all the images from their cameras once they got home.
Please, leave kilts for the RenFair where they belong.
