But seriously, to have this as an "emotional outlet" seems to me to indicate a stunted, warped and pathological emotional status. He's not hurting anyone but himself, so I wouldn't oppose it, but I don't think it's healthy.

Now for something really icky. I've heard, but cannot confirm, that there are robo-bothels where you can hire these things by the hour. Eiiiuuwww. Raises all sorts of issues of hygiene and maintenance. Eiiiuuwww.
