I got my kids started on planting mammoth sunflowers 2 years ago. As soon as it starts getting warm they start asking. This year they have already started digging on odd spots to put them. We only fight with just a few things while they are growing before they can enjoy them: Cats, dogs, rabbits, deer, really rainy weather, and most common problem which I think is cute is the kids...lol
