Welp, my experiences with Canada are that Ottawa and Toronto were pretty pleasant and friendly and interesting, and Montreal was unfriendly. It was very interesting but the anti-English-speaking cabal there doesn't seem to get the connection between the tourists and their money. And my high school French was just bad enough to be irritating to them, so it seemed.
