Skied yesterday, biked today, no it wasn't warm enough to cycle here. I took my mtn bike out on the dirt/mud roads. My front derailler froze in place and my rear d froze me out of all but the three lowest on the cluster. I was chased by a dog I know on this really long patch of ice, maybe 40 feet. I would like to thank gyroscopic effect for not kicking my butt. I scared the crap out of a little dog I don't know, using my patented anti-bite technique. What you do is angle your bike directly at the dog until veering off at the last second. This dog gave me a nervous little yipe and ran his butt back down his driveway.
