lotta hot dog lovers here!

I almost never do anything for 4th. Too hot. Although I lived in Park City, Utah, for a while, and they had a consciously quaint celebration, including a flapjack breakfast, parade, activities, and then--yeah, fireworks over the golf course.

Fireworks at a distance are very cool. Fireworks up close, in kid's hands, in backyard, are NOT COOL! As I can personally attest to.
