Of course.. this is clear.

But why a particular group? Am I learning a new skill? Perhaps there's a group of people who are good at it. Acceptance by this group would validate my new-found skills. Perhaps there's a group with a lot of power at my job. Acceptance by this group would mark me as a prime candidate for a promotion. Perhaps there's a group of guys that seem to attract a lot of hot babes. Acceptance by this group would make it easier for me to score.

What does acceptance by The Cellar grant? Why should a newbie care? If you walk into a restaurant and see a table with 10 people, all strangers to you, all having a good time, do you have a desire to sit down, join them, and become part of the group? How is this like, and not like, a new poster approaching The Cellar?
