Translation:

Today I called the customer service number on the back of a product to ask a question. Instead of a customer service representative, I got a recording telling me to dial a different 1-800 number. My phone is ugly and hard to use, so I thought maybe I misdialed. I tried again, and successfully connected to the person I was trying to call. We chatted about the product for awhile, and then I hung up, only to realize I hadn't asked the question I needed to ask! So I hit redial--and got the recording to call a different 1-800 number again. So now I know I didn't misdial after all, because this time I used the redial button! I tried the number a fourth time, and this time got the lady again. I asked her if she knew what the hell was up with her telephone number. She said, "Yeah, we know it's happening, but we haven't bothered to do anything about it."

I wonder why they would do such a thing. Maybe they are selling the phone number to other companies to use as random ad-space half the time? That would be odd.

Man, am I the only one who can understand his stories?
