Maybe she decided to walk home. My three year-old did that once to me when we got separated by accident in the grocery store. We had the police searching and everything, and when I got home (escorted by the police) there she was--eating (cold) oatmeal and watching tv as calmly as you please, after walking about quarter of a mile home.
