Politics, War, and Sex

Someone made a comment about discussions of politics, war, and sex on the Cellar.

Well, how about a thread that involves all three.

I was looking for a quote from "Club Paradise", uttered by Peter O'Toole's character. Something slanderous and clever about Club Paradise and debauchery.

Well, type a few words in a search engine and you never know what you will get.

Wicked Pictures Launches Operation Desert Stormy

We're all pretty familiar with porn movies ripping off popular titles of books, movies, etc. This might be the first time an adult movie has ripped off the name of a war.

"Over There" a 2005 dramatic series about Iraq, tanked after the first season of 13 episodes, low ratings, and criticism about patriotism and bad taste.

A lot of discussion revolved around "Hogan's Heroes" a comedy about a WWII POW camp that debuted 20 years after the wars end. There had been dramatic plays and movies about the war, but many people felt a comedy was in bad taste, even 20 years later.

Desert Storm was the first Gulf War, which ended in 1991. Is an adult movie named after a war disrespectful since we are back in Iraq with the current results? Would the troops be upset, or would they want free copies?
