Oh Yuck! The Encyclopedia of Everything Nasty for my grandson. Supposed to be a big hit, especially with boys.

My daughter (9yo) chose this when we recently bought the sprogs books as rewards for good Science Fair projects. She loves it, and has been reading it for ages, so it must be good as she normally speed-reads everything and doesn't always stop to take it in properly. It has bookworm approval
