Oh. Sorry. I thought I heard a troll. My mistake.

Now, I appreciate Dhamsaic's effort. I truly do. But it also fills me with sadness and a bittersweet longing for a bygone era. It was a time when giants walked the earth, a time when mere mortals trembled at the sound of a tongue being sharpened and a keyboard being drawn from its scabbard: The Age of the Troll.

Time was when trolls were hand-crafted works of art, and their creators were honored craftsmen. Trolling reached its zenith in the early 90s, under the Trolling Guilds of Usenet. The advent of the WWW and Instant Messaging have, sadly, been the death of the trollmaster. Today, the art of trolling has gone the way of stained glass and the forging of Damascus steel: another mystery whose secrets are lost to the ages.

A few fragments of ancient knowledge have survived to the present day, and I will share one of them with Dhamsaic now: A good troll NEVER announces his intentions to the reader!
