An excellent addition. I got stuck in evacuation traffic a couple years ago on I-75 and decided to skip over to US441. Traffic on that road was hell, too.
...because it was packed with people
trying to get off the highway and on to the interstate. After that, the road was empty.
Back road evacuation is the way to go.
