Best Pep Boys reference I ever saw was on the t-shirt of one Edward Van Halen, in the glory days. It had the usual logo, but instead of guys, they were girls done in the same style. And the tag: "The Pep Girls... Fanny, Flo and Jackie".
Obscure but true.
