I like Titus's take on childhood trauma: Get down off your cross, build a bridge, and get over it.

"When I was a child..." has been used as a pretty lame excuse for some equally lame adults. It's 15 minutes of shame/fame on Oprah.

My personal excuse for myself is that I didn't get enough sleep in High School, so I', makin' up for it.
