Don't see why. Booze tastes a lot better.
Also, given relative amount of time spent enjoying the substance vs. level of impairment, I'd still go for the booze. I can dawdle over a snifter of brandy for 15 minutes to a half-hour, reveling in the sensory experience, while if I smoked through that same period of time I would be barely capable of doing anything other than giggling at the way my socks get baggy around my toes.
