I'm curious Griff, Bullwinkle was shot out of season? That would get my attention but if he was legally bagged , no big deal. I'm not a great outdoorsman or hunter. I prefer to shoot at paper and steel targets, I think legal hunting serves a purpose and raises funds for wildlife management.
About 15 years ago here in Pa., there was a moose
slaying in the south central section of the state. I can't remember the county. The game warden arrested a man for shooting a moose out of season. This particular moose was a
trophey moose and attracted a lot of attention because the dumb bastard that shot him claimed self defense. He said the moose charged him and he killed it to protect himself. Funny thing though, he shot him with a rifle, in the anus and through the chest cavity. As I remember this asshead was looking very seriously at a 5 year jail sentence. If your going to shoot Bullwinkle, do it legally dammit.

So anyway, Al Sharpton was on the scene soon after the arrest saying something about "if you're black, even if you are a moose you can't turn your back on whitey" or something like that.
