I actually think Slang is partially correct on this one. Al Sharpton has a lot of sway with black voters, but not very much respect outside of that community. He hasn't been able to make even an appearance of moving past this.
Sharpton is a controversial figure. He invigorates both his base and the Republican base. In this way, he is like Clinton, except Clinton could appeal to the middle. I think Sharpton's presidential run will die pretty quickly.
I also think our first black President, like our first female President, will come from the Republican party, but that's an entirely different story.
And Slang, I don't agree with
all those things on your list. Does that make me less of a liberal?
