In this case, here is a tourist vehicle in Chongqing, China. The official caption says it's the "Foreigner Street section" of town; Googling says Foreigner Street is a location in Dali China specifically designed to sell things to tourists. How quaint that they have a specific place for tourists, as if centralized planning found that tourists want trinkets
and so we will direct them all down this street where trinkets are sold, and call that the street of foreigners.
Or am I wrong?
