I've been encouraging him to play and sing one of his own songs. Maybe I'm just starstruck, but I've always been extremely impressed with Els ability and tallent. So are many other people, but he remains extremely humble.
He used to sit around on a Fri or Sat evening a play guitar for me, but lately has taken to leaving his guitar over at the house where he practice with his band because he doesn't want to tote it back and forth
. I miss being able to sit all stary-eyed and enjoy his playing.
He's actually very good.
