Lumber...the rape comment in the other thread was kinda different to me and that's why I commented there. I didn't understand the context which is why I queried it.
That being said, when I hear or see the word it makes me feel a number of things...but mostly, because like many more women than you may realize, I have had first had experience with the word and the action, it scares me.
I thought a long time before posting this and telling the truth about why I said anything at all. Please try and see it from my perspective, and also that of (if my guess is anywhere near correct) several other women who post here.
