My views on Tony are mixed. I disagree with some (read: many) of his policies, think during his leadership we have been sapped what little pride we had left in our country and have falllen further into post-imperial malaise.

However...

I honestly believe he has done the best job he could given the situation. I'm sure he wants the best for the country, and I respect him for trying to make the most of a bad situation. I would much rather a Labour government with Tony Blair be in power than a Conservative government with... well, anyone in power.

I DO think it's probably time for him to leave, just on a sympathetic level - He looks -rough- compared to when he was voted in. Give the man a break! But at the same time... I have no faith or remote desire in any other political party in the UK. My next vote will be a vote designed to keep the BNP, England First etc OUT, not trying to vote anyone IN.

Which is sad.
