left me in a crumpled heap

full of silent, neverending screams

lifting my eyes up to the sky

stumbling through the pain
just so much acid in my veins

tasting the liquid salt on my lips
on my broken dreams I slip
raging and flailing at fate
her wicked wiles I berate

oh why me? I rage
you must learn to turn the page
