That's only policies initiated by conservative republican fundamentalist Christians.
There's a theory that we take the hit for everything because we're the only remaining superpower. Who knows?
This is a good reason to be isolationist. We should become self-sufficient and remove ourselves from the world scene. Perhaps then we'll be more appreciated.
