This thread is kind of old news now, but I'm going to add to it anyway. I've been away for two weeks or so on vacation, and just recently was able to organize some of my pictures. I went to NE Pennsylvania, not so far from Scranton, where my family has a cottage on a lake.
This first group of pictures was taken by my Dad on I-81 at Great Bend, PA. This was during the height of the flooding. They temporarily closed the highway so a Coast Guard rescue helicopter could use it for landings while doing rescue work. He was lucky enough to be just a few cars back from the action.
