Dunno what prescription you were on; I've had extremely good results with Metrogel. I know that there's other treatements involving laser or other high-intensity light that seem to work too. But it's good to hear that the electrolysis works for you.

Naturally Metrogel only knocks down an in-progress infection; the spider veins hang around and have to be dealt with as you have, or with laser, etc..
