It is absolutely heart breaking to have a critter go into liver failure on you. This happened to me once with a kitty that somehow got into some anti-freeze. I forced syringes of liquid down her throat just like in the picture that accompanies the story. The vet showed me also how to give her injections of water right under her skin. I fought for 5 days to keep kitty alive, but lost the battle.
My heart goes out to those whose pets were impacted by this.
