This is the last week for the BBC on shortwave in North America. As of the 1st of July, the BBC will terminate all shortwave broadcasting to North America which ends the one shortwave broadcaster one could almost always receive. They are terminating to save money since they feel we have enough options for BBC on local radio, the Internet, and on the upcoming digital satellite radio - the first of two birds already having been launched.
