Thank goodness. For a minute, I thought I'd gone blind--I couldn't see the IotD. Now it's clear that I couldn't see the time...

From space? How high? Wow. Look at the bright sun shining down on everything. Everything except the poor saps in the shadow of the plume. They probably think "Armageddon".
