Stacey , you have evedently never had a Large working breed dog in a small house , they get bord and will chew up ANY thing they can get their mouth around , some of them ( Labs , Chesseys , etc,,,) have ATOMIC tailes , ever seen a verry expencive crystal coffie table dodad hit a hard floor , they FART loudenough and smelly enough to clear a room , they are BREAD to be out doors , to with stand the elements , to keep the yard clear of rodents , hell even little dogs have jobs , ever hear of a RAT Terrier ??? What could They be for ??? Ever seen a Jack Russel go after a sguirle or mouse ??? Docshounds ars long and short to go after burrowing critters !! labs and Chessies are Happyiest when they are running and swimming in the water going after fallen birds , FACT !!!

So BB wants this dog to keep the critters out of his yard , she has a purpose , a mission in life , besides sitting in some bodys lap
I bet if she is even sorta efective she will live out a LONG and happy life guarding his garden , romping on her 120' cable run ( does your dog or dogs have THAT much running room?????? ) barking at the various critters that come visiting in the nite .
Oh and she WILL be part of the pack , the out side guard , the first line of deffence !!
