Well, here's the scenario I envision, which may have absolutely nothing to do with reality. The factory where the apparel in question is made has this huge bin full of buttons, see? Whilst cutting the buttonholes in said apparel, one might naturally want to glance over at the button bin and see if the buttons in the bin match the size of the buttonhole before cutting, say, 50,000 buttonholes.
From what you're telling me, it sounds like they cut all of the buttonholes here - with no way of knowing how big the buttons are, then they ship the whole load of apparel to BFE to have the buttons sewn on, then they ship it all the way back. Is that what I'm to understand from all of this?
