As in , how do I make a BOOT floppy ????
Windows XP or Windows XP Upgrade? Why after doing the upgrade would you now want to blank (erase?) the hard drive? Furthermore, why would you want to format a perfectly good hard drive? What OS are you upgrading from?

Unlike DOS, one cannot fully load an XP (NT based) system from a diskette. The diskette (actually multiple diskettes) can start the NT loading. But essential files to finish an NT based boot (even into text mode) must exist on larger storage media such as hard drive or CD-Rom.
