Pie, We were on Royal Caribbean this time. To be honest it wasn't the best ship in the fleet. hell, it is probably the one that speared the whale from IOTD awhile back. I remember RC being much nicer in the Caribbean. In fact, the Carnival ships I've been on recently were much nicer than this one.
I did forget to mention one of the laughable (for us) highlights of the trip. Everywhere we went, restrooms were hard to come by, disgusting when you found them, and you had to pay someone standing outside to enter. With all of that one must keep in mind that my wife is A) not very patient, B) very capable of hanging with the boys, C) not easily embarrassed. the lines for the women's restrooms were unbelievably long while the mensroom lines were maybe one or 2 people long at most. my wife would stand in line with me and use the mensroom before me. the other women would point and gawk and fume - but we didn't spend our trip standing in line for the pisser.
one question to any european who is peeking in here- where are the toilet seats? male or female restroom doesn't matter, there was not one single toilet seat in the entire region. (not that you would ever sit on one anyway)
